A fanciful taste composite: a cream sauce that can be served as an appetiser or starter.  Ideal for little savoury tarts or canapés, garnished with diced cheese, pickled vegetables, or sliced hard-boiled eggs. A perfect accompaniment to a rich meat bourguignonne, or delicious kebabs!
