Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Squeeze the juice of the orange and two limes. Put aside.
  2. Wash the last lime and with a vegetable peeler remove the zest. Cut into thin strips, blanch in boiling water. Then dry and set aside because it will be used for decoration.
  3. Peel the bananas, cut them in half lengthwise and arrange them in a frying pan, with heated Extra Virgin olive oil. Cook for 2 minutes on each side, allowing them to lightly colour.
  4. Then, drizzle with the prepared citrus juice mixture. Let them flavour, turning them with a wooden spoon and making sure that they do not stick to the bottom of the frying pan. Remove carefully and arrange them - two halves on each plate.
  5. Simmer to reduce the remaining sauce in the pan and add icing sugar. Mix well.
  6. Sprinkle the bananas with the sauce and garnish the dish with the julienned zest prepared earlier Serve hot.
