Monini North America was first established in Connecticut, USA in 2000, to establish the first direct presence in the US and Canadian markets. After 25 years, we are confirming our commitment to the North American market with a new office located in the same quaint Connecticut town of Shelton.
2025 also is the year of other major changes. The Monini logo and brand image has been revamped to incorporate Monini’s values and commitment to quality and sustainability. Monini’s 10 years sustainability project “A Hand for the Future” is in its 5th year and already achieved major results in our efforts to become a major player in the category.
Monini Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil accounts for 85% of the company’s production, ranging from retail sizes like 500 ml. and 750 ml. bottles to foodservice sizes of 3 and 10 lt. and can be used for all cooking preparations. Monini’s popular “GranFruttato”, obtained from 100% Italian grown olives, has a richer olive taste and aroma with a distinctive peppery and slightly bitter finish, and is more often used as a finishing oil. The company assortment also includes Organic, Regional PDO/PGI and Monovarietal extra virgin olive oils plus a full line of Flavored oils.
